Description
Chain link is a traditional wire mesh fencing product that can be used for either domestic or industrial purposes, it is erected on to a series of strained line wires. Chain link fencing can be erected on a wide range of posts that include concrete and steel angle iron posts for permanent fencing. Timber posts will provide a cheaper alternative ideal for temporary fencing.
Rolls of chain link fencing are 12.5 and 25 metres long and each roll, when purchased, comes complete with sufficient line wire for the erection of that roll of chain link fencing, for example, with 1.8m high chain link fencing 3 line wires are normally used top, middle and bottom. The chain link fencing is then tied with wire ties or netting clips to the top, middle and lower line wires.
Chain link fencing is available as a galvanised finish or a range of PVC coated finishes, the most common PVC coated chain link being Green in colour. Green coated PVC chain link is often used in domestic situations because it will blend in with surroundings.
